Half Celebration
We as human's are still discovering the origin of universe and fighting among ourselves on the creator of the homosapients. For a while, will put aside this discussion. I believe the origin of evolvement instigated from the creation of Man and Woman. Their growth had abreast in all aspects, advanced Mentally and Physically. Somewhere in mezzo of this evolution. Man has become ascendant in every angle in day to day progress. This change was across the globe. Most of the Men still have the erroneous cognition that woman is just to beget the offspring and treated more us pleasure, which resulted in many crimes till date and time. This kind of perception has been widely injected across the planet.
The first woman I have seen is my mother. When people ask, what does your mother do? I loved to say "She works for us in home" rather saying "Housewife". Though dictionary meaning is proper, it also tells it's used as offensive word. Mother is first exemplar on the work ethics and dedication. Her happiness, celebrations are always halfway. The moment she becomes mother, either biologically or personification, there is only half celebration, according to me. We all don't know the pain to give an offspring except women. Though, we can describe technically the pain in decibels, or any other, but we can't feel. Everyone around her will celebrate that moment including her, forgetting the pain. Its Half celebration. To up bring the child, Manage the household, Manage workplace, Manage in society, in every way of her lifestyle is challenge, yet she does everything impeccable. Any festival celebration, its half celebration to her and we all enjoy the festive mood. To make us enjoy, she has to let go her happiness in halfway. she celebrates in our celebration. Every day, I want to emphasis "Every day" cooking tastefully is one other thing, I still get fascinated and astonished!! That's something incredibly indubitable love you can feel. I am not exaggerating, the one who cooks food, will understand this. The Melancholy of this expression of love, is one who does, can't enjoy the taste. So, How many days, mother hasn't tasted the tasty food? Still no complaints. Just got in mind Mother Teresa, unconditional love to the orphans, diseased, dejected people around her. She one of the greatest servant to humanity.
Most of us forgot the lifeblood of woman in our part of life, in fact misunderstood or spurned the way to treat them. Till date and time, the majority of perception on women is still incorrect and backwards towards there growth. one such live example, "women's bill" is not encouraged, lapsed finally not passed. I am not being sexism, rather encouraging feminism. In order to break the chains of apprehensive attitude and orthodox culture, around the women, such bills are essential. Being in this bigoted, doctrinal and dogmatic societal culture, Women endured everything and endeavored constantly. There are lot of self less efforts been put to revolutionize this such structure in the society. Specially in India, Women has been dishonored through ages, few of social reformers and revolutionists changed this transgression attitude towards women. one of such reformer who went unnoticed and unsung hero is "Babasaheb Ambedkar ". He introduce "Hindu Code" bill which consists of several acts associated and most of them are to support women from the orthodox culture He introduced Ancestral Right, (to have share in the property) Divorce Right (to separate from physical, mentally abused husband). Most of those acts, bills had faced strong veto from different political segments in the country, which led him to quit his Law Ministry. He also introduced "Women Maternity Bill" that working women should get wages during maternity period. We all know about Ishwarchandra vidyasagar, Kandukuri Veersalingam, Mahatma Jyotirao Pule, Savitribhai Pule, Sarojini Naidu and many more. Also want to name few current reformers, ArundatiRoy , KiranBedi, ArunaRoy, IromSharmila, Malala Yousafzai, Manasi Pradhan,Shaheen mistri list continues. I felt to remember all the past and present reformers on this day is the minimum regard and tribute we can give to them. Defeating all such odds, women achieved and achieving in every field. Name it, Science/Technology/Arts/Literature/Sports/Business/Leadership in any field, they have reached the acme of it.
Most of us comment on having urban overview on the things around us, but penetrate into villages to see the India's growth not in GDP or economical standards. Even Economists some times can't predict the market, it's such dynamic. Money itself is dynamic, it won't last longer. But values and culture remains generations to generations. we have to inculcate the values and importance of woman in life, in fact indoctrinate the current cognition of child/youth/Men/Old people. We have to protect and safeguard women. Till then, our celebrations remain halfway.
Until,
Wishing every women around globe, "Happy women's day". want to remind my past piece of poetry. For reader convenience, replace gal as "Woman" :- )
Until,
we respect, recognize, and treat equal.
we keep woman safe inside and outside home.
we vanish child trafficking.
we annihilate the girl child mortality.
we increase the literacy rate of women in the country.
Till then, our celebrations remain half.
