Four Eyes

It’s been a year, He lost his two eyes. Anyone without the two eyes, it’s very hard to survive. It’s very difficult to endure. He is currently facing in the trauma. Almost 15 years, He and "it" stayed together in every bit of happiness, sorrows and dreams. His visuals in reality and sometimes in dreams are through it. He always astonished the way it protected him in several hard times and how it enhanced his happiness. It was his partner in crime i.e. whatever he saw the good, bad and the ugly things it shared an equal part. This short story will tell how he lost two eyes. His name is Avi.

 Let me start how they met each other. In 2001, Avi felt that he needs a companion, for his everyday activities. He was in school, in VII class writing notes from green board; He felt something missing in him. He shared the same with his parents that something is missing in him and he needs it. He wasn't able to be normal and unable to concentrate in classroom.He shared the same with his parents. They took him to a place to confirm that Avi really needed?? So, they decided and gave him the companion he had asked for and told that to stay with it no matter what happens. That’s how they met each other!!

Their relation started in eagerness and ardor way, Avi was happy actually that he got crony. They used to wake up at same time and enjoyed the sunrise together. In fact, "it" used to help him in brushing, to find any corner around tooth to get clean.  Sometimes he forgets, and takes "it" to bathing;He used to feel in rapture and excitement. Every time the shower on it makes beatitude. By the way it has its own towel

They both go to school and enjoy the schooling. They used to play, at times it gets hurt in protecting him and of course he never left “it” . He even takes it for playing.  It enjoyed the game thrills, fun, win and lose. It used to feel proud whenever Avi was in front of school assembly speech or elocution competition, it saw the whole crowd cheering and appreciating it indeed Avi. That was some magical moments they had together. Evening they used to watch TV together. Since Avi was movie freak and it got used to watch along with him. Eventually, it has become movie freak. They have been understanding and enjoying the companion of each other. Though it has its own bed but they both used to sleep and dream together.
 

Soon his teenage, has flashed away with lot of reading and not studying, it felt bored and strained a lot for him and then his graduation. During this phase, it didn't captured any beauty in nature.kinda phase
not productive to both of them. They missed home and family. Whenever they go for festivals, it used to be an eternal bliss. Avi have made sure that mostly his birthday will be celebrated with family and make it happy too. It enjoyed the festivals, especially Diwali. It enjoys the glittering, dazzling lights in sky and helps Avi to enjoy even more the happiness. 

After, Avi had got into work; He has made it so much to work for him. It didn’t like that, he was helpless and he was so much depended on it and addicted. He understood "it" concerns, Avi took it for adventures, swimming, outdoor fun. It felt struggled while swimming and other outdoor activities. It was tired and not ready to take extreme adventures where  Avi would love to do. Before Avi make him to suffer more, He want to show it and It wants to show Avi , something interesting and thrilling. So they both decided to go Kerala and Goa. They have enjoyed the lovely beaches and fell in love with it. They have seen some amazing, nature created beauty in Munnar, Allepy and Goa. They both had some adventure fun too. Initially, "it" was reluctant to do it and to allow avi to do. Avi forced it and finally, they had paragliding together.They are in perplexing state and saw, felt how birds enjoy the nature!!That was flabbergasted experience!!They flitted like fish from one wave to other wave!!! That was one heck of good time for them.

As days passed, Avi took decision to be away from it. As one of his greatest philosopher said “Nothing is permanent in this wicked world, not even our troubles.” In similar lines, I want to add "not even our emotions". It agreed with Avi's decision unwillingly. Because, It has to move away completely, if not completely, it’s rare that they both want to stay again. They took a place where they were separated each other L

 

Finally, Time to unveil, the part of Avi, his closest friend and been his saviour for fifteen years is his " spectacles".  

Yes, those are his two extra eyes, which support the existing eyes. He lost them on this day, a year back. 

I would like to reiterate that it was part of his body –organ. This is no exaggeration, People who were specs and depended on it, will understand the emotion. Yes, they both dream at times, Avi wore specs and gone to bed and dreams. Yes, it had its own towel and bed (the box and cloth provided by shop when you get specs) J almost every millisecond he saw was with it. It’s actually his extra two eyes. I mean it!!

It enhanced his happiness because, it enhances his vision and the beautiful things he has seen. Its part of Avi and lost his two eyes a year back.

In memory of his spectacles, this article is for all those who are four eyed people.
