So called “Change”
We all
heard & told several times in several situations the famous quote “Change
is inevitable”. The actual reality of this quote lies in what change do exactly
we are talking about. Simple, it might vary on the situation, one has spelled
the quote. But, this article speaks about the common man who is very commonly uses
the quote in a situation, when he thinks about the society and his country.
Now-a-days,
we all start our day with one or other bad news in the country. The next word
as soon as we see or hear such news is “Change”. A change has to come from the
people, come from the government or come from there, here…so on. Change is
inevitable. Change will come, should come …never ending statements and never
ending hatred to the society. Even the article also talks about the change but
in a different way. The way the change has to be. Change should come from
within the people not somewhere else. Few of them, might have heard even this
statement. Let’s understand how it is different from most of the people’s perception
and decided by you, how different or how thinkable rather how correct it is.
In India, currently, most of the youth are now in IT sector.
As we all know, India produces more number of engineers. IT sector need those
graduates and enhance the business operations and work accordingly. Earlier,
the author of the same article has written “IT Coolie” article – more on satirical
way of representing present IT sector, so called software engineers. The author
has faced some strange and amazing coincidental reality after writing the
article. Whatever he articulated in the article has turned into reality. Every
point and every satire has been attire to him. The attire which he never leaves
or the attire which he has to or supposed to, happened to be part of his life.
The author shocked!! Amazed!! Thrilled!! Then his direction has been turned and
resulted to a selfish idea. The idea is to write another article and turned his
mind into +ve way and understood the real content of his satirical article and
made a new article which your reading now. The word selfish has been used because;
answer will be understood at the end of the article. So, Instead of being
pessimistic, let’s see about the optimistic shade of the IT sector.
Most of us are in IT sector; more or less every family has a
software engineer now –a-days. There might be different views, perceptions, or
understanding on the reason behind for most of the youth to drive in path of
IT. Might be the easiest way, hard work of 3 to 4 months may get you job in IT.
Few of them for the passion to work and play with algorithms. Rest as there is
no other choice, will fall into IT. Why not a Navaratna or Maharatna company in
government?? It gives a lot of core
students to prove their skills and learn, earn and can see bright career
growth. Now-a-days, most of the Navratna, Maharatna companies are ready to pay
more than IT sector packages. Reason, is one may not get a job that easily as
in IT sector. Could be because of the core subject knowledge or the level of
competition might be the reason. Whatever the reasons, point is majority of the
graduates are in IT sector. Every body
works round the clock and earns saves and spends. The strange thing in IT
employees, when 30days are in a month and SE are allowed 8days to enjoy for him
and with family. So, ideally, there is a lot of scope for savings rather
expenditures. But, we could say undoubtedly without any statistics that is not
happening. Most of them spend and few amounts of people have a scope of
savings. There could be many reasons. Which are individual specific, interests,
and way of understanding...So on. But generally, most of the people think that
a SE has more money and less time. So, he is ready to spend rather to think. Obviously,
His hand will first go and give the money then starts thinking or in some times
there is no thinking. He doesn’t know how to spend what he is earned. OK, let’s
put in a decent way, he doesn’t have time to think about the income he has got
in hands. Two days (Saturday and Sunday) are more crucial to him rather to any one.
Rather looking the price, understanding the importance of the product and use
of the product to him/her. He will spend and purchase it first; second he may
or may not think. Few of them will spend like its last days of their life. Oops!!
The article is still going pessimistic track, let’s bring into +ve track.
Let’s talk about how the graduate learns when he enters into
the job, mainly in IT sector. Article will discuss about the remaining 22days of
the month and the life of SE & lessons from IT field. Most of the people love
the field of IT, and like to stay and lead a happy life. Yes, it’s true. There
is scope of having a roundup of the globe. Earn a lot without any age difference,
depends on individual caliber and courage to grow and achieve many higher
targets in a short span of time. So, one can earn the hidden knowledge in IT
sector a lot. Most of the business skills and management can be learned while
doing IT job. A great discipline, punctuality, values and organization skills
will be learnt from this stage. It will be a great boost for a fresh graduate
to learn an umpteen number of skills in one stage. Every SE will strive to give
the best to the project and gain appreciation, next for hike i.e. for a better
pay and career growth. The more you learn the more you grow is the principle in
IT. The more your productive, the pay will be proportional. The way the work
the responsibility will be completely on the team and every individual in the
team. One can learn the level of responsibility and understanding the need of
the customer. Provide suggestions or ideas to increase the better growth of the
client and his firm. The mutual learning, a complete team work, at times
individualistic the ownership of the tasks and assignments. A leadership quality which comes when “YOU”
own the things before someone assigns it to you. A leader – one who owns before somebody
assign it (it could be task, responsibility, work or risk). Just understand,
rather thinking and making your brain technically stronger and allowing your
thoughts to drive in a narrow road. Make things and situations broader, most of
the successful people rather leaders, say “Think out of the box”. Yes, think
out of the box, cross the boundaries, explore and conquer it. It has come from Julius
Caesar & Napoleon. To reach the client’s expectations or to achieve his
targets, most of the IT companies and employees strive their best to reach and
achieve. Since, the only reason is they are getting paid, if you won’t do, next
number will do, if not him, the other …In a country like India, competition is
a major role in every aspect. From the admission of 1st standard student
to MBBS, to be in love to get married, everywhere one HAS to live and own the
competition.
So, the Idea is to learn a lot from the IT sector. Just
imagine, IF we all put the same effort, responsibility, ownership, punctuality
and discipline towards government Jobs and work for your country. Just imagine the brightness and glory of the
country. So called sentence “India is a developing country” will be erased from
the text book. The functioning of the government bodies will be efficient and
effective. Think in a optimistic way, one culprit or corrupted officer can’t
ruin the majority of the responsible employees in a department. Get into IT
sector, learn the level of understanding the importance of the client and come
back and project the same towards your own people and to your homeland. Use
your brain and skills for your country. Try joining into the government jobs
and reflect the same perfection, efficiency of the work in IT Company. Reflect
the work, responsibility shown to the west client to your people. To create
such a world, Government has to take few drastic changes. Bring the pay scale
more challenging to IT sector. Provide the opportunities and create the offers
where one cannot reject! One should be
like civil servant, where the complete responsibility of a district is holder
by an IAS officer. Same like other civil services or engineering services, are
better stages to serve the nation and for your personal career growth too. Just
imagine, graduates from India, when a complete district is under your control,
Imagine how well can you show your creativity. “Change” will be visible and
will be a lesson for neighbor districts and officers. Yes, so called “Change”
which we are trying to talk is the change in the every graduate, every youth of
the nation. Get this change in you, it auto reflects in your nation. A
optimistic way is never ending, think and walk in the optimistic way of approaching
to wash the nation. Government should be supportive to the career of the
individual and the economic status by increasing the pay to the youth who are
interested to show there epitome of willing to serve the nation. Erase the misconception
that scientists should only work for their country, Army should only serve the
nation. Make things clear, every individual holds responsibility for the nation.
One should start seeding, cultivating such ideas to bring the nation to
positive shade. For an instance, none of them protested near parliament or at PM,
CM house for the death of school children. Was that not the failure of the functioning??
Was that not intolerable irresponsibility shown towards the children?? Try to
think broader, try establishing a good family, society, then the nation.
For a better nation, reflect the
same dedication, passion, work, and respect towards the people of your own
country. Think if this kind of a change turns reality and bring an unimaginable
change in the whole nation, would give us a chance to say “India is developed
country”. The moment the most of the youth learn “How to Work” in IT sector
& switch to the Government bodies and show the same would wash the unkempt
state the India currently in. Let’s see USA, China, how they look at India; let’s
see how the rest of the world see India now. Let’s think what we are giving
back to our nation, the way we think giving back to our family. Let’s see
whether this article will turns to reality!!!
